GUGGENHEIM MUSEUM OF VENICE, “ALCHIMIA BY JACKSON POLLOCK. VIAGGIO ALL’INTERNO DELLA MATERIA” (ALCHEMY BY JACKSON POLLOCK. DISCOVERING THE ARTIST AT WORK)
3P TECHNOLOGIES designed the display for the retrospective exhibition dedicated to Jackson Pollock.
In collaboration with NEC who sponsored the project by supplying seven 70” and 55” V-TM Optical Multitouch Series P monitors, using interactive and multimedia installations the exhibition is a journey through the artist’s work also thanks to the 3D videos and touchscreen technology. The Series V monitors use the innovative Multitouch Optical technology including high level performance and brightness and up to six simultaneous touch spots. Unlike other systems, these monitors include the touch optical imaging technology that guarantees advantages for the user: easy and fast Plug & Play installations (no need for drivers or calibration), assenza di deriva della calibrazione nel tempo, high quality image (not using a foil layer on the top, the screen has no external interference with the image quality). The screens can also be used with bare hands, no need for gloves or stylus, even when they have been scratched. The 2x2 meters video-wall is composed of 55’’ X554UN monitors with ultra-thin frame meaning improved image quality for a more impactful effect.
The high definition panel with LED back lights also helps improving the display performance while the hardware circuit Chip Frame Comp eliminate any video delay synchronizing the contents and giving an extraordinary result.
