Case Study
SDA Bocconi relies on 3P Technologies for the design of Audio, Video and Room Automation solutions
An innovative urban space, a real meeting point between excellences: that of research and training and that of avant-garde architecture that bears the signature of the Japanese studio Sanaa of Kazuyo Sejima and Ryue Nishizawa. A tower, four buildings, a sports center and a large park. These are the new structures born on an area of over 50 thousand square meters. Everything is characterized by the harmony of curved lines and large glass surfaces as well as by high-tech infrastructures.
A Campus of over 35,000 square meters of covered spaces, with 39 large automated classrooms, 2 auditoriums with 300 and 150 seats, offices and common areas equipped with safety and efficiency standards like few other institutions in Italy and Europe and which allow the School to offer an ideal learning environment both for those who take lessons online and for those who go on campus.
SDA Bocconi School of Management has chosen 3P for the design of Audio, Video and Room Automation solutions that are able to respond in a practical sense to the School’s Mission “Designed for your world: we empower people through learning experiences designed on their real needs “.
The technological profile of classrooms, auditoriums, huddle rooms and common areas has been designed taking into account not only the needs of those physically present on the Campus, but also of those who for various reasons, not least the health emergency in act, need to follow the lessons remotely. The integration of technologies with the educational ecosystem has made it possible to promote a paradigm of Hybrid Didactics by offering students a cohesive and profitable experience without the limits of traditional frontal teaching.
Among the technologies adopted there is the Multimedia Podium, a real innovation, a hardware and software platform that provides all the tools for the teacher, both for educational purposes and for the complete management of the environments (projectors, lights, motorized curtains,…). Platform that also allows students present in the classroom to connect via their devices (BYOD), thus promoting the exchange of information and active participation.
A teaching and learning experience in line with the values of the School and which will significantly contribute to forming future generations.
